Hello and welcome to my website.
I’m a writer with a passion for World War Two history. I co-wrote the acclaimed Blood and Bandages – fighting for life in the RAMC Field Ambulance 1940-1946 with WW2 veteran, the late William Earl. Purchase signed copies here.
I live in Singapore and am a FOM docent at Changi Chapel and Museum. On 5th September 2023, I had the pleasure of taking Paul Woodadge of WW2TV on a virtual tour of the museum. I returned to WW2TV on 29th September to talk about the 214th and 167th field ambulances at Salerno, Italy in September 1943.
I’m a regular contributor to Asia Media Centre and have written on a wide range of subjects ranging from safe water for Myanmar’s Karens to Singapore’s eccentric Haw Par Villa.
I’m currently researching my second book, Changi – the war years.
