writer

Hello and welcome to my website.

I’m a writer with a passion for World War Two history. I co-wrote the acclaimed Blood and Bandages – fighting for life in the RAMC Field Ambulance 1940-1946 with WW2 veteran, the late William Earl.

Since 2017, I’ve been living in Singapore. I’m a FOM docent (guide) at Changi Chapel and Museum which is dedicated to the Prisoners of War and civilian internees imprisoned by the Japanese between Febrauary 1942 – August 1945.  I’m a regular contributor to Asia Media Centre and ExPat Living.  I’m currently researching my next book.

This month’s reading pick is Mrs Milburn’s Diary – an Englishwoman’s day-to-day reflections 1939-1945 ed. Peter Donnelly. A gentle read but a heart-breaking contrast with the FEPOWs experience. Oh what could have been…
